Dr. Kathryn “Katy” Kennedy

Dr. Kennedy joined the Hemmett Health team in January 2023 as a full-time chiropractic physician. She treats both pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions.

Fun Facts:

Dr. Kennedy grew up outside of Albany, NY.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland in Cortland, NY

Dr. Kennedy was a member of the varsity Women’s Ice Hockey team!

She earned her doctor of Chiropractic at Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls, NY. While in chiropractic school dr. Kennedy was the national chair of the Student American Chiropractic Association.

Her favorite food is mozzarella sticks with Melba sauce a staple of NY’s Capital Region!

In her free time you can find her either watching the New York Yankees, Detroit Red Wings or playing sports!

Since retiring from college hockey she likes to stay active in her free time by weight lifting, but you can also find her playing pick-up hockey, golf, tennis and skiing! Dr. Kennedy played hockey against Liam Neeson’s son! She used to visit Burlington frequently when she was younger for hockey tournaments, and she is very excited to be back!
